An allergic reaction can be mild, showing symptoms such as the above. Sometimes, an allergic reaction could also be very much life threatening. This type of condition is known as anaphylaxis.

It can be completed via a blood test to ascertain whether you have any allergy to begin with. Allergy blood tests can reveal what triggers your allergy symptoms and help your doctor to decide the best treatment plan for you.
Allergies are more common than you think. It is especially common in children, although adults can also develop allergies to substances that they were not previously allergic to when they were younger. An allergic reaction can be triggered when a person’s immune system overreacts to an allergen and produces antibodies called Immunoglobulin E (IgE). These antibodies trigger the release of histamine, a chemical that causes symptoms during an allergic reaction, such as:
Allergy Blood Test
Allergy blood tests are used to find out if you have an allergy. It can reveal what triggers your allergy symptoms and help your doctor to decide the best treatment plan for you.
In terms of food allergy, there are also blood tests measure the presence of IgE antibodies to specific foods. A blood sample will be taken and sent to the medical laboratory where different type of foods can be tested to identify whether you have any food allergy.
